Most games get screenshots, videos, previews, developer interviews, etc for months before launch. If the game is ready for release why delay showing it off? Rockstar didn't even share a single screenshot when they announced the trilogy the other week. Given how many games release broken and full of bugs it's perfectly logical to wonder why a game was not shown until very close to release.
We've also been treated to our first set of screenshots, although no screens specific to the Switch version have appeared just yet:

A physical Switch release also launches on 7th December. The studio has shared the trilogy's first trailer (up above) and Nintendo's updated eShop listing confirms that it'll launch for the platform on 11th November priced at £49.99 / $59.99. The collection will let you play Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with "across-the-board enhancements", including new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and "much more".
